In the early nineties whilst still a student her figurative works won her a finalists place for an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, London for which she had two pieces entered.
Seen as a rising figure within the portrait and figurative world, she moved on into the design field to further develop her skills and broaden her techniques.
This credited her with a degree, and also led to a collection of works be submitted for consideration into the International Design Awards, Stuttgart in 2001.
Whilst continuing to take commision on private portrait works, Elle further developed her skills by working alongside the Ferrari Owners Club as illustrator for both the magazine and owners alike from 2005-09.This gained her a vast experience in more highly detailed works and credited her with a growing audience for her wide variety of art.
